Grade 2 and Grade 3 students will have the opportunity to sing with their peers in a group setting, preparing for a small performance for friends and family at the end of each trimester. Throughout the course, they will learn how to sing with proper technique focusing on breath support, tone, diction, expression, and more. They will receive comprehensive music education through the exploration of many different genres of music, aural skills, music theory, and music history. Creating music with others is an incredibly rewarding experience that encourages teamwork, social skills, listening skills, dedication, confidence, and physical and emotional well-being.

Louisa Amend is a music educator based out of Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 with a Bachelors of Music Education.
